Design Engineer (AutoCad /Solidworks _ Crane,Heavy Equipment industry)

We are looking for an Experienced Design Engineer with proficient in AutoCad , Solidworks, analytical skill, designing skill, hydraulic system design and interpretation .

Job Title: Design Engineer (Mechanical)

Reports To: General Manager

Basic / Required Competencies:

· Education: Bachelor's degree

· Experience: 3 – 5 year previous experience in a design engineering

· Linguistic Skills: Proficiency in spoken and written English.

· Skills:

· Ability to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and employees at all levels within the organization.

· Strong... multitasking and prioritization skills.

· Proficiency in design works and designability.

Behavioral Competencies:

· Organized and detail-oriented.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Technical Guidance:

· Ensure repair instructions given to technicians adhere to OEM approved procedures and standards.

· Ensure timely delivery of quality maintenance and repair services by the workshop.

Machine Maintenance:

· Schedule and ensure timely completion of routine maintenance to prevent downtime.

Certification Management:

· Ensure third-party certifications of equipment, operators, and technicians are always valid.

· Manage customer machine repairs, including preparing quotes and obtaining approval from General Manager/Technical Engineer.

Off-Hired Machines:

· Ensure off-hired machines are actively worked on within a 2-day timeframe to provide customer reports for off-hire damages.

Pre-Hire and Off-Hire Checks:

· Oversee meticulous performance of pre-hire checks and off-hire processes.

Design Work and Designability:

· Proficiency in design works and designability, ensuring the ability to contribute effectively in design-related tasks and projects.

Desired Candidate Profile

Must have previous experience in Solidworks, Autocad,analytical skill, designing skill, hydraulic system design and interpretation . Experience in designing hydraulic system and lifting equipment is an advantage
