Swarm Training is working with Money Advice Trust in their search for a Level 2 Accounts and Finance Assistant Apprentice. This apprenticeship provides a chance to learn a variety of important skills that will contribute to a successful career. About Money Advice Trust
The Money Advice Trust is a national charity, that helps people across the UK to tackle their debts and manage their money with confidence.
They support individuals, the self-employed, small businesses, the free debt advice sector and creditor organisations. The Money Trust Advice has worked in the area of vulnerability since 2011. During that time, they have trained over 300 firms, and more than 30,000 staff, to improve support, and outcomes for their customers. Beyond their frontline activity, Money Advice Trust works closely with the UK government, the devolved administrations in Scotland... Wales and Northern Ireland, regulators, creditors and other partners.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Review Purchase Order returns to ensure that all details are completed
• Assist with processing of supplier invoices for payment
• Assist with the preparation of weekly payment runs
• Assist with reconciliation of supplier accounts and liaising with Aged Creditors
• Post sales invoices
• Assist with monitoring and liaising with Aged Debtors
• Review open Sales Orders and Purchase Orders
• Assist with Balance Sheet reconciliation
• Processing of bank reconciliations within agreed time scales
• Issue monthly credit card statements to cardholders
• Review credit card returns to ensure that all information has been completed and all documentation attached
Working Week
Core working hours will be 35 hours per week from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. This position is hybrid working and as such you will be required to be in the office 2 days per week. During your working hours, you must complete a minimum of 6 hours per week of study time with tutor support working towards the Level 2 Accounts or Finance qualification.
Future Prospects
After successful completion of the apprenticeship, there is a full-time position available for the right candidate depending on apprentice performance.

Training Information
Training will be with us – Swarm Training, a national provider of apprenticeships throughout the UK. The successful candidate will work towards the Level 2 Accounts or Finance Assistant qualification, this apprenticeship will take 12 - 15 months to complete with assessments.
The apprentice is required to complete a minimum of 6 hours per week during working hours, working towards achieving the qualification. A tutor will conduct training sessions once a month, where the apprentice will be allocated tasks to be completed during working hours.

Pay: £14,468.00-£21,820.80 per year
