Job Descrption
Emilia Wickstead are looking for a Product Developer Assistant to work in our amazing London studio. You will be a graduate who has had a relevant work placement or internship or someone who has relevant work experience who wishes to move roles.
What you will be doing:
-administrative help on collection fabric management (RTW, Bridal, VIP fabric enquiries)
-sourcing materials based on designer’s brief
-liaising with suppliers
-pricing & dating hangers
-action and chase lab dips
-support with embroidery development and embroidery production techpacks/CADS/artwork
-liaise on specifications on fabric/embroidery/trim side
-ARTWORK development - Photoshop/Illustrator
-keep materials library tidy & fit for purpose
-Data input on CADs and Artwork specifications
-all around help on studio/design team
Who do we want:
-Textile Degree background or Design
-fabric experience and passion for textiles
-knowledge of fabric sourcing and development
... Proficient in Indesign/Photoshop/Illustrator
-communicative and organised
-work under pressure and multitask
-creative eye high fashion aesthetic
