Technical Manager London to £78,000 plus package

Technical Manager urgently required for a large mixed-use type scheme in Nine Elms, London. The scheme consists of around 900 residential units, with a significant number of commercial and retail spaces on the ground floor.

This project is partway through and is a site-based role. This role will suit someone from an architectural background who has moved into Technical Coordination and then Technical Management with either a Developer or a major housebuilder.

There are many design challenges on this scheme, which include value engineering, architectural changes, and site optimization to maximize the return from such a scheme, including additional staircases/fire escapes for a building of this size.

It is a high-tempo, busy role that has many rewards for the right individual. You will need to have worked on major residential-led construction projects at either a house... builder, developer, or consultancy. You must be fully up to date on all design legislation for such buildings and demonstrate your ability to lead and manage the Technical Coordinators on site, reporting into Senior Technical Managers and a Technical Director.
