This is a part-time role onsite five days a week in our London office. As the Office Manager in our central London office, you’ll be starting from scratch with a brand-new space, shaping everything from the ground up. From organizing events to managing supplies and creating an amazing office vibe, you’ll be at the heart of it all. Office Management:
Act as the point of contact for internal and external communications, including office management related tickets through Jira
Checking the office for aesthetic condition and cleanliness
Maintain office efficiency by... planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement
Monitor and approve office supply acquisitions and maintenance expenditures and manage ordering/purchasing requests
Coordinate with building management and external vendors for maintenance and repairs
Travel management
Develop and implement office policies and procedures
General cross-site collaboration and support of other Office Managers
Support and organize small office events and catering
Provide first-level IT support to office staff
Handle on-site network tasks including monitoring
1-2 years of experience in administrative roles, such as an office assistant, receptionist, administrative coordinator, hotel industry, event management, customer service, facilities assistant, personal assistant, or something similar
• Experience coordinating small events or meetings, such as team gatherings, internal office events, or client meetings
• Ability to handle unexpected situations, such as technical issues, urgent requests, or last-minute event planning. Office Manager needs to be adaptable and resourceful in finding solutions
Familiarity with common office technology (printers, phones, video conferencing tools) and software (Google Workspace, etc.).
