Job Descrption
An established joinery and construction company is seeking an experienced CAD Draftsman or Junior CAD Technician to join their small team on a permanent basis in their West London Office.
The ideal applicant must be fluent in English, have good written and verbal communication skills, have a demonstrated track record in design and drawing, and be proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD.
The position will demand you to generate joinery construction drawings to satisfy project deadlines. This will need knowledge of joinery materials and systems.
The applicant will collaborate closely with project managers and architects to provide support with orders for various materials for joinery and construction work. The candidate will produce different schedules of work.
Candidate Requirements:
• Good time management and organisational abilities.
• Great attention to detail.
• Ability to utilise Microsoft Office software confidently (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•... Preferably prior experience in a CAD Design capacity.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the capability to generate reports and submit tender/contract items.
• Ability to establish positive working connections with co-workers, customers, and outside organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Using AutoCAD, produce and modify CAD Design Drawings.
• Creating production drawings and technical information that are clear and instructive.
• Creating various technical drawings while adhering to material and joinery system criteria.
• Collaborating with a team of other experts like project managers, designers, and architects.
• Creating schedules of work for joinery and construction projects.

Salary: £25,000.00 – £35,000.00 – Your level of experience will determine your salary range.
The position will be office-based from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Before beginning the work time, the candidate should be able to commute or intend to relocate.
Experience:
• AutoCAD: 2 years (preferred)
• ArchiCAD: Not required, although beneficial if used.
• Microsoft Pack: 2 years (preferred)
Work Location: Office in South Acton W3 – In person
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
• London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
• Joinery and Furniture Design: 2 years (required)
