Jon Grant London is currently looking for an Experienced Furniture/ Cabinet Maker to join our small team, based at our workshop in Leyton, London.

Specialising in contemporary design our projects span from residential projects of kitchens & wardrobes to commercial office fit outs.

This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about design and the bespoke furniture world, but also for someone who has strong work ethics and is a team player. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Furniture Maker, be able to work on their own from technical drawings and be proficient on machinery.

Ideal candidate must have:
• Minimum experience of 3 years in making freestanding and fitted furniture, with experience working on site and installing various projects, such as wardrobes, kitchens, alcove units etc.
• Have experience... with veneering & laminating
• Great attention to detail working on high end projects
• Understanding of technical drawings and is advanced in using various machinery
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team
• A full UK driving license
• Be based in London

This position starting full time Monday-Friday with a 3 months probation period, working as a freelancer with a view to being employed after the probation period.

Job Types: Full-time, Freelance

Pay: £18.00-£22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
