Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an Aerospace Research Executive to support our Specialist Groups and contribute to RAeS thought leadership.
Key responsibilities will include:
Engage with Specialist Groups to facilitate the production of technical papers.
Author papers on topics of interest to Society membership and contribute to AEROSPACE magazine.
Attend conferences/events to maintain and enhance technical knowledge.
Support the Specialist Group Committees in meeting preparation and coordinate staff participation as appropriate for agenda items.
Support the Community of Interest model for participation and engagement in Specialist Groups.
Required skills:
Educated to degree level in engineering or relevant science... subject.
Experience working in the aerospace, aviation or space sectors.
Track record of technical/scientific report writing.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Salary up to £35k dependent on experience.
Location: Hybrid / London, UK
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 17:00
Holiday: 25 days, plus UK Bank Holidays
