Description
SLOANE SQUARE: Daily Nanny (G4.5 years & new baby due in Jan 2025) end Oct/early Nov start ££££
~ Role: Daily Nanny
~ Location: Sloane Square
~ Children: G4.5 years-old, with new baby due in January 2025
~ Start date: Late October/early November (mid-November absolute latest)
We have a role for professional, international clients, located in Sloane Square. Our clients are seeking a new, Daily Nanny (to replace their long-term nanny of 3 years). The role is to start towards the end of October/early November, to be able to do a good handover with their out-going nanny.
Our clients require about 50 hours per week from their nanny, Monday to Friday with a little bit of flexibility around the edges (eg. to facilitate any professional/social commitments - naturally prior notice would be given in these situations and... babysitting would be paid separately).
~ working hours: Daily, 50 hours/week, Monday to Friday - alternating between 09.00- 19.00 and 08.00-18.00 depending on the parents' weekly work patterns.
Our clients have one daughter (4.5 years) and are expecting their second child in January. They both work full time jobs, and although Mum will be taking maternity leave for a few months when the new baby is born, she is not employing a Maternity Nurse, so it is a requirement that their new nanny has good experience with both primary school aged children and new babies. Their daughter is at school (Reception year), so the new nanny must be able to help support with school runs and school-related homework. social activities and any school-admin etc.
The family's current nanny has been with them for 3 years and is leaving around mid-November, she will support the new nanny with the transition.
Client requirements:
• English proficiency (preferably native) with immaculate written and verbal English skills and good communication.
• Educational support - homework assistance for Reception, Year 1 level.
• Proactive planning for children activities.
• High energy levels, active & outdoorsy - able to keep up with active young children and babies within a very tall London townhouse!
• Cooking healthy and yummy meals & snacks for children.
• Full Nanny duties, incl. children's laundry and wardrobe management.
• Ability to travel: this is not a formal requirement, but it would be very helpful if the nanny could join the family on some of their travels - mainly to the USA, with occasional short trips to Europe).
Full nanny duties pertaining to the children will be required, and the family employs a House Keeper who comes a couple of times per week. There are no pets in the household and our clients don't need a driver.
The family lives in SW1, a very short walk from Sloane Square underground, and Victoria tube station is approx. 10 minutes on foot.
Interviews are now taking place, with a view to start towards the end of October/early November
