Our London team provides front-end studies, engineering, procurement and project management services for initiating and executing oil & gas field, offshore wind HVDC, renewable energy and carbon capture developments. Our Business very much depends on our people; all our major achievements are team efforts.
We are currently looking for Project Quality Manager for... our New Build team, the role will be based at our Chiswick office, UK.
About New Build
The New Build segment is responsible for delivering major energy projects for the oil & gas and renewable markets. The segment includes all phases of a project, and specializes on delivering complete solutions that include engineering, procurement, construction and installation.
What will you be doing?
• Assist with implementation and maintenance of project Quality Management System in engineering phases of our projects
• Coordinate planning and execution of audits, design verifications and technical reviews and lead them where require
• Interface with client, partners, subcontractors and suppliers on quality related matters
• Ensure that engineering work is performed in accordance with the project execution model
• Provide training on Aker Solutions QA processes and tools to engineering organization
• Follow up Quality and Continuous Improvement matters in projects
• Coordinate and follow-up improvement process in a project
• Assist in maintaining the Quality Deviations Register and ensure issues are closed
• Establish Quality KPIs for engineering phase of a project and prepare periodical reports
• Coordination implementation of lessons learned from previous projects and facilitate experience transfer to other projects
• Provide support to tenders on quality related matters
We think you should have:
• Previous experience on similar engineering project – Oil and gas, Renewable
• Experience of working on joint venture preferred
• Previous leadership experience in project environment
• Experience of multiple office execution/workshare
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Good decision making ability. Able to identify any ‘knock-on’ effects
• Liaise effectively with other disciplines, departments, vendors and clients
• Manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
