Job Responsibilities: Cleaning Crew Member
As a Cleaning Crew Member at Power Maids Ltd, your role is essential in ensuring our clients’ homes, offices, and businesses are clean, organized, and welcoming. While no prior experience is required, any previous cleaning experience would be an advantage. We are looking for individuals who are motivated, reliable, and eager to learn.
Here’s what you can expect to do as part of our team:
Key Responsibilities:
• General Cleaning Duties: Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Surface Cleaning & Sanitization: Wipe down surfaces, including countertops, desks, tables, and touchpoints like doorknobs, light switches, and handles, to ensure spaces are hygienic.
• Bathroom & Kitchen Cleaning: Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms and kitchens, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and appliances.
• Trash & Recycling Removal: Empty trash cans and recycling bins, ensuring waste is disposed of... properly and promptly.
• Restock Supplies: Refill items such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and other cleaning supplies as needed.
• Deep Cleaning: Assist with more intensive cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, window washing, or scrubbing floors, depending on the client’s needs.
• Reporting & Communication: Communicate with supervisors about any maintenance issues, supply shortages, or specific client requests to ensure high-quality service.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Attention to Detail: An eye for spotting dirt, dust, and areas that need extra care, ensuring no corners are missed.
• Physical Stamina: The job involves walking, standing, and bending for long periods, as well as lifting and moving cleaning equipment.
• Time Management: Ability to complete tasks efficiently within the given timeframe while maintaining quality.
• Teamwork: Ability to work well with other team members to complete jobs efficiently or independently when required.
• Good Communication: Basic communication skills to understand instructions, report issues, and coordinate with team members and supervisors.
• Customer-Oriented Mindset: Friendly and professional attitude towards clients, ensuring their satisfaction with the service provided.
Education & Training:
• No Formal Education Required: A high school diploma or equivalent is a plus but not necessary for this role.
• Training Provided: We offer comprehensive on-the-job training, teaching you the best cleaning techniques, use of equipment, and safety practices.
While prior cleaning experience is beneficial, it’s not required. What matters most is your willingness to learn and your commitment to providing excellent service.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 3 per week
