Job Overview
We are seeking an Investment Analyst with experience in a family office environment, monitoring, maintaining, and evaluating our current investments on a weekly basis. This role involves closely tracking the performance of existing investments, applying strategic oversight, and providing detailed reports on their progress. The position requires a hands-on approach to ensuring investments are meeting performance expectations, identifying areas for improvement, and communicating key insights to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing investments on a weekly basis.
Maintain a proactive approach in tracking investment performance and market conditions.
Analyse investment trends and provide actionable insights.
Apply pressure and oversight where necessary to ensure investments are performing as expected.
Report regularly to management with detailed updates on investment performance, risks, and opportunities.
Collaborate with... the broader team to ensure alignment of investment strategies with organisational goals.
Direct Private Equity Investments:
Support the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of direct private equity joint and joint-lead investments alongside other private equity investment firms
Perform industry and company research to identify investment opportunities
Assist in the preparation of financial models, investment theses, and due diligence reports
Primary Investments:
Evaluate and monitor primary fund investments
Conduct market analysis and track industry trends
Assist in the preparation of investment recommendations and performance reports
Skills
Experience working in a family office or similar environment, understanding the complexities of managing private wealth, legacy, and multi-generational financial objectives.
- Strong understanding of financial services, including equity markets and investment analysis.
- Proficient in financial planning techniques and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective reporting and presentations.
- Proficiency in financial modelling software and tools (e.g., Excel).
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all analyses.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £50,347.00-£60,000.00 per year
