About The Role:
Join our... team as a Chef Supervisor and play a key role in ensuring the highest standards in food preparation and safety. In this role, you will cook food according to specified recipes and production methods, ensuring portioning and quality meet the required standards. You will complete production documentation, report any deficiencies in food production, quality, and temperature audits to your immediate supervisor, and ensure food is stored and labelled correctly to avoid cross-contamination. Adherence to HACCP guidelines at all times is essential.
As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• To Cook food in the manner laid down, using the ingredients specified, following recipes, production methods and achieving the required standards.
• The portioning of food according to laid down procedures.
• The completion of production documentation as required.
• To report all deficiencies in food production, quality, and temperature audit to your immediate supervisor
• To ensure food is stored and labelled correctly when not being handled, to avoid cross contamination.
• To ensure HACCP is always adhered to with all food items.
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
• Must have Right to Work in the UK.
• An enhanced DBS will be completed for the successful candidate.
• City and Guilds 7061 & 7062, NVQ 2 Food Preparation or equivalent demonstratable experience, Level 3 in Food Safety.
• Be familiar with and have knowledge of temperature and HACCP monitoring systems.
• Previous chef experience in large scale food production - Chef catering background/ Experienced career in catering.
• Staff Management - Record of accomplishment of previous line management responsibility
• Stock taking procedures - Using electronic stock system, Using an EMO system for patient orders.

Pay: From £16.08 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
