Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Hours: Full-time

No - 39 weeks per year (during school terms)

Permanent?: No - fixed-term until July 2025 in the first instance

TeacherActive is recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a highly respected and thriving primary school in Streatham. The school is known for its diverse and supportive environment, aiming for high academic standards and fostering a love for life-long learning.

Support pupils under the direction of the class teacher/SENCo to facilitate access to a broad and balanced curriculum.
• Work one-on-one with a child if required, maintaining a full-time and regular timetable.
• Assist in planning and assessment, providing clear feedback on children's progress.
• Support the learning and well-being of children with special educational needs (SEND).
• Contribute positively to the wider life and ethos of the school.

• Commitment to raising standards of children’s learning and attainment.
• Ability to support children with special educational needs, particularly those with ASD.
