Focusing on the UK market, Saxo is looking for a Senior Relationship Manager whose primary responsibility will be the relationship management of Institutional clients and partners, identifying opportunities to grow the addressable wallet. and ultimately delivering on that growth. In order to be successful in this role you will need to:
• Hit annual revenue growth targets for the book of business
• Be curious about the clients' organisations; develop a deep understanding of their businesses
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the client organisations
• Plan and execute growth initiatives with the clients
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for YOY TRE growth on a portfolio of institutional clients and wholesale partners
• Take over a book of clients and proactively developing client relationships
• Fully understand the nature of a client’s business and all key stakeholders relevant to Saxo
• Understand and support our partner’s growth strategies, go-to-market plans and marketing initiatives
• Identify potential opportunities within these client’s and partner’s organisations in which Saxo’s solutions and services will be relevant to their business growth
• Present convincing solutions and engage with key stakeholders to obtain buy-in – creating the ‘Why?’
• Proactive engagement of specialist teams (solutions, products, sales trading, API, onboarding, compliance)
• Collaborating with Saxo’s client support teams, most notably the Prime Service team, to constantly improve business processes and service levels
• Be the key escalation point for unresolved issues with clients
• Involving Saxo’s management team where required and ensuring ‘C Suite’ engagement
• Being the ‘first line’ of defence for Saxo, acting prudently and adhering to all policies and procedures
• Develop a deep knowledge of Saxo’s products and capabilities, including the regulatory backdrop context and competitor landscape
• Manage all aspects of relationship administration, ensuring account plans and growth initiatives are documented for all clients and partners, and the CRM is updated accordingly
Your profile
• Demonstrate at least 10 years’ experience in the financial technology, brokerage, wealth management or investment space
• First-hand knowledge of and experience within the UK wealth management landscape including existing relationships would be higher desirable
• Outgoing and personable with a proven ability to build strong client relationships and trust
• Ability to manage discussions involving multiple stakeholders with varying degrees of seniority (from CEO to working level)
• Solution oriented thinking with a focus on leveraging technology
• Good understanding of liquid capital markets products, e.g. equities, futures, options, FX etc.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong team player with a collaborative style
• Travel to Saxo’s HQ in Denmark will be required (approximately 4-6 times per year)
• First-hand knowledge of and experience within the UK wealth management landscape including existing relationships would be advantageous
