Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required.
- Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist in warehouse duties when not on delivery routes, including inventory... management and organisation of goods.

Skills
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job.
- Experience in commercial driving is advantageous, particularly with van driving.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
- A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £11.65-£12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 12.71 per week
