CLASS 1 HGV Driver - DAYS - Full Time – Permanent.

• Full time, permanent working hours with no zero hour’s contracts.

• Working hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm but are changeable dependant on the needs of the business
• A guaranteed 50 hours per week.
• Weekly pay on each Friday.
• 28 days of holiday per annum inclusive of bank holidays.
• Paid 45 minute break each day.

What will I be doing?
Our drivers are responsible for moving freight in a safe and professional manner from our depot to our customers, you’ll be:
• Ensuring the vehicle is properly loaded, safely secured and in-line with road and transport legislation.
• Delivering Kerb-side pallet goods coming in all shapes and sizes in the local area with an electric pallet truck and tail-lift where no forklift is available.
• Collecting hub collection pallets to bring back to the depot for trunking.
• Professionally interacting with customers with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Completing daily maintenance checks on your vehicle and reporting any issues via our app.
• Driving in inclement weather, such as light snow, heavy rain etc.
• Managing and maintaining delivery and collection paperwork.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
What we are looking for?
• Applicants will have a Class 1 driving license.
• Valid CPC/DQC record.
• Ideally, at least one 1-year multi drop experience however we offer enhanced training to the right candidate.
• Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery experience.
• Ability and knowledge of lifting and handling procedures.
• Work well independently using initiative and common sense.
• Open and transparent communication both verbal and written.
• You’ll be confident in dealing with our customers, building new relationships and developing existing ones.
• The successful candidate will be safety focused, ensuring work is completed in a safe and professional manner.

• No previous disqualifications IN, DD, DR or MR.

Organise a depot interview on a day and time that suits you from:
07:00 to 19:00 Monday - Friday.
