About the role: Teaching Assistant: Are you passionate about helping children thrive? Looking to make a meaningful difference in a vibrant, diverse primary school? This Teaching Assistant role in Barnet is the perfect opportunity to start your career in education—even if you don’t have any formal experience! We’re searching for someone with transferable skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in working with children.

This is a full-time, long-term role where you'll work with students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing essential support both inside and outside the classroom. You’ll help children of different abilities, including those with special educational needs (SEN), to engage with the curriculum, develop social skills, and feel more confident in their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting students in their learning and development.
• Assisting the class teacher in managing classroom activities.
• Working 1:1 with pupils who may have additional needs.

• Helping to manage behaviour and ensuring a safe learning space for all students.
