• Overview*
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction to non-native English speakers, helping them develop their language skills in a supportive and engaging environment. This role requires effective communication, creativity, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere.
Our EFL Teachers are welcomed into our friendly, professional English teaching team at St Joseph language School, based is located in a residential campus in Oakwood Station -London, only 25 minutes from Kings Cross St Pancras station on the Piccadilly line.
This contract offers the opportunity to teach general English classes.
In addition to our year-round Language School programmes, we also deliver online English courses to our students.
• Responsibilities*
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
... Educate students on the fundamentals of the English language, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Create an engaging classroom environment that encourages participation and interaction among students.
- Utilise various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
• Skills*
What you need to become part of the St Joseph Team Teaching Team:
• CELTA or ESOL Qualified
• Degree or equivalent required
• Teaching experience preferred but not essential
• Eligible to work and live in the UK
• All staff are required to complete an Enhanced DBS Check and complete an online Safeguarding course.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information and engage with students.
- Ability to educate and inspire students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
