Our school is committed to providing a high-quality education that meets the needs of every child, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).We are ideally seeking an experienced, confident, resilient and enthusiastic Upper Key Stage Two Class Teacher with a proven track record of teaching SEND pupils and has strong behaviour management skills.This is a permanent, full-time position, ideal for someone passionate about making a difference in children's lives and committed to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.Key... Responsibilities:Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Upper Key Stage Two pupils, including those with SENDDevelop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and tailor learning activities to meet diverse needsManage classroom behaviour effectively to create a safe and supportive learning environmentMonitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies as necessaryWork collaboratively with teaching assistants, SEND coordinators, and other staff to support students' learning and well-beingEngage with parents and carers to communicate progress and support at homeThe Ideal Candidate:Must hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Have experience teaching Upper Key Stage Two pupils, including those with SENDDemonstrate strong behaviour management skillsPossess excellent communication and interpersonal skillsBe committed to continuous professional development and the wider school communityShow a genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting all students to achieve their potentialBenefits:Competitive salary in line with MPS and UPS pay scales (Inner London)Supportive and collaborative working environmentOpportunities for professional development and career progressionConvenient location with excellent transport links in Wandsworth, Inner LondonInterviews are taking place the week beginning 10th June 2024Please note that we are unable to offer sponsorship at this time.
