Trainer - Engineering / Health & Safety
Full Time, Mon - Fri 9-5 (Occasional training of night shift, 1/2 x per year)

Our client is an esteemed engineering organisation dedicated to the aviation and aerospace industry, looking for a passionate professional experienced in training to join them in fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Their Training Department plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all employees have the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.
You will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs for all positions within the organisation, working closely with the Training Manager to implement and review training strategies that align with the company's objectives and adapt to the changing needs of our workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
• Training Development: Design and deliver Technical, EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety), and Compliance training... programs
• Training Plans: Develop, implement, and review training plans in alignment with company strategy, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the business.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Training Manager and departmental managers to define training requirements that meet examination (stamp) standards and align with competence requirements.
• Scheduling and Coordination: Arrange and schedule training sessions with internal and external trainers, including setting up and conducting Web-Based Training.
• Policy Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and practices, including Health & Safety and Equal Opportunities.
• Budget Management: Collaborate with the Training Manager to effectively manage the company's training budget.
• Material Evaluation: Develop, evaluate, and recommend improvements to training materials and methodologies.
• Off-site Training Coordination: Organize off-site training activities for employees as necessary.
• Deputizing: Step in as the Training Manager during their absence.
• May be required to travel occasionally to Germany base for workshops or forums within group locations.
Person Profile:
• Ideally degree qualified in engineering and/or a business function or experience in similar role coupled with secondary education (A Levels) or BTECH/HNC (Desirable)
• Recognised training qualification (preferred).
• Ideally have an aviation training background (EASA Part145) or health and safety training background
• Previous experience of delivering training/presentations
• A track record of successfully developing positive, productive and collaborative working relationships with a wide variety of partners
• Team player with ability to develop role and seek to continuously improve process
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages
• Excellent communications skills and able to work at all levels
