Gymnastics Teacher- Nursery School Mumbai

Where? Mumbai, India, Asia.

Schedule: Monday – Friday (09:30am – 6:30pm, Saturdays 10am – 4pm).

Subjects: Gymnastics

Goals: Teaching foundational gymnastics skills, fostering a fun and safe environment, and contributing to the physical and social development of our young athletes.

Role Summary:

Our client, who is opening a brand-new preschool in Mumbai and is seeking a dynamic, experienced Gymnastics teacher to join their busy team. This exciting new venture is part of a prestigious International School in Mumbai. They require a passionate and energetic Gymnastics Teacher to join the team, working with children aged 18 months to 8 years old. The ideal candidate will have experience in gymnastics and a genuine love for working with young children.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Instruction & Coaching:
• Teach fundamental gymnastics skills, such as tumbling, balance, flexibility, and coordination exercises, customized for various age... groups.
• Create and execute lesson plans appropriate for the developmental stages of children aged 18 months to 8 years.
• Ensure that all activities are safe, engaging, and promote the physical growth of the children.

Class Management:
• Oversee groups of young children while fostering an organized, positive, and enjoyable classroom atmosphere.
• Adjust teaching methods to accommodate the unique needs and abilities of each child, offering encouragement and support.
• Maintain discipline and address any behavioural issues constructively and positively.

Safety & Supervision:
• Guarantee the safety of all children during gymnastics sessions by closely monitoring activities and enforcing safety protocols.
• Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure it is safe and in proper working order.
• Administer first aid as needed and manage any accidents or incidents in accordance with the gym's safety guidelines.

Communication:
• Effectively communicate with parents, providing updates on their child’s progress and addressing any concerns.
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a consistent and high-quality program.

Professional Development:
• Stay informed about the latest gymnastics techniques, child development principles, and safety standards.
• Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities as required.

Dates/Times:

Starting from ASAP 2024, lasting for at least the 2024/25 academic year, with an opportunity of a rolling contract.
