Our client is a well-established firm of Chartered Architects, founded in 1997 and based in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire, currently seeking an ambitious Architect with AutoCAD proficiency to join their team. As a corporate member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and registered with the Architects Registration Board (ARB), they are dedicated to helping their clients maximise the potential of their properties.
Specialising in residential and hospitality projects, our client partners closely with clients, navigating the complexities of planning, building regulations, and statutory requirements to ensure the successful completion of every project.

Architect
Position Overview
• Produce designs for both... small-scale and large-scale projects
• Meet with clients to discuss project briefs and objectives
• Prepare technical drawings and detailed building regulation plans
• Conduct site visits and manage on-site project progress
• Review and verify quotations from builders and subcontractors
• Address on-site issues and ensure smooth project execution
• Collaborate with colleagues to assist on projects and ensure team success
• Manage project budgets and ensure deadlines are met

Position Requirements
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience within architecture, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
• Comprehensive experience working across all RIBA Plan of Work stages (0-7)
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and the ability to create detailed technical drawings and building regulation plans
• Excellent communication skills, with experience in meeting with clients, discussing project briefs, and managing client expectations throughout the project lifecycle
• Solid understanding of contract administration, including experience in managing projects on-site, conducting site visits, checking quotations, and liaising with builders and subcontractors
• Proficiency in AutoCADArchitect Position Remuneration
• £40,000 to £50,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications
• 20 days of annual leave plus bank holidays
