Job Title: Trainee Pastry Chef
Company Overview:
We are a renowned dessert shop, offering a wide variety of high-quality cakes, pastries, and desserts. We are seeking a passionate individual to join our team as a Trainee Pastry Chef, where you will learn the art of pastry-making in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, cakes, breads, and desserts according to established recipes
• Ensure all food production meets quality standards and adheres to food safety regulations
• Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items that reflect seasonal ingredients and trends
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods
• Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to... maintain a safe working environment
Work Schedule:
• 9-hour shifts, with a 1-hour paid break
• 5 days a week
Requirements:
• A passion for pastry and dessert-making
• Basic English communication skills
• No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn is essential
• Previous experience in a bakery or café is a plus but not necessary

Pay: £27,500.00-£29,000.00 per year
