Are you ready to bring the magic of London to life after dark? London by Night Tours is on the lookout for a lively and knowledgeable Tour Guide to join our merry little team (currently just one fabulous guide)! Founded in 2023, we’ve been delighting guests from all corners of the globe with our evening walking tours.
If you’re bursting with enthusiasm and have a knack for entertaining, we want you to help create unforgettable experiences! Your love for London will dazzle our guests as you share your insights and stories along our walking route.
A Bit About the Role: We’re all about keeping it real here, so let’s set the scene: we’re looking for someone who’s excited to step in for the occasional walking tour. With our current guide covering most of the tours, this opportunity is for someone who loves guiding and wants to earn some extra cash once in a while besides their day to day job.
What to Expect:
• The Tour: Our adventures kick off at... Charing Cross Station and wrap up at Oxford Circus. We’ll give you a basic script to get started, but we encourage you to sprinkle in your own fun facts and stories. From personal experience, having the freedom share your own knowledge and research about the sights rather than reading word by word from a script makes guiding more fun, and this is something we seek our guides to bring to the table.
• Duration: Tours meet at 17:45 and usually finish by 20:00.
• Pay: Earn £35 per tour plus tips! Our international guests love to show their appreciation, so you could leave with a little extra jingle in your pocket!
