Role: Network Specialist Salary: Up to 150k

Team: Technology Operations

Our client, an elite macro trading organization, is seeking an experienced Network Specialist to join their Technology Operations team. This role requires a deep understanding of network infrastructure in financial services, with a focus on delivering reliable, high-performance solutions in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. Design and implement scalable network solutions tailored to the demands of financial services.

Create and maintain detailed network documentation.

Manage network changes in accordance with strict change control processes.

Provide L2/L3 support for complex network performance and availability issues.

Identify opportunities for automation and innovation to enhance network efficiency.

Oversee project delivery, coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 7+ years of network engineering experience, with at least 3 years... in the financial services industry.
• Strong experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• In-depth knowledge of network security protocols and best practices.

Experience with cloud networking solutions (AWS, GCP).

Proficiency in automation tools (Python, Ansible).

Familiarity with VoIP, video technologies, and data center infrastructure.

Knowledge of cybersecurity solutions such as Palo Alto or Fortinet.
