Job Accountabilities
• Analysis and development of appropriate and optimal insurance program structures
• Negotiation of cost-effective coverage and terms and conditions across insurance policies
• Management of accurate and timely underwriting data submission for program renewals
• Manage all corporate wide insurance matters including reviewing operations, identifying gaps, and recommending new coverages as needed
• Development of policies and procedures, performance standards, claims reviews and audits
• Provide subject matter expertise on contract terms and conditions in coordination with Legal
• Coordination of all insurance and risk related requests from internal stakeholders, including Legal, Finance, Human Resources, Operations, Internal Audit and global subsidiaries
• Management of external partner relationships, including insurance brokers, third-party administrators and insurance companies

Skills and Experience
• Bachelor’s or higher degree – preferably in Law/Maritime Law
• Relevant experience of 7+ years in a commodity trading company – ideally oil trading company
• Experience of working within an international environment, ideally international organization and/or multinational private sector
• Knowledge of insurance market and trends
