#### Role Overview:
As a *Dry Bulk Broker*, you will play a critical role in expanding Star Global’s presence in the European market. This position requires expertise in dry bulk cargo and market conditions, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to foster strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, and traders. Your focus will be on generating new business, negotiating contracts, and advising clients on market trends and... shipping opportunities.
#### Key Responsibilities:
- *Negotiating Dry Bulk Contracts*: Broker charter agreements and cargo contracts, negotiating competitive rates and terms between shipowners and charterers.
- *Market Development*: Identify and develop new business opportunities in the European dry bulk market, expanding Star Global’s client base.
- *Client Relationship Management*: Build and maintain long-term relationships with shipowners, charterers, and traders, providing excellent customer service.
- *Market Analysis*: Keep abreast of dry bulk shipping trends, freight rates, and vessel availability, delivering market intelligence and strategic advice to clients.
- *Transaction Management*: Oversee the end-to-end management of charter deals, from initial inquiries to contract signing and operational execution.
- *Networking & Business Expansion*: Attend industry events and trade shows, representing Star Global and growing the company’s profile in the European shipping market.
#### Required Qualifications & Skills:
- *Experience*: A proven track record as a Dry Bulk Broker with extensive knowledge of the European shipping market.
- *Communication & Negotiation*: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage with high-level clients and stakeholders.
- *Market Expertise*: In-depth understanding of dry bulk cargo, vessel types, and industry regulations.
- *Relationship Building*: Ability to establish and maintain strong networks within the shipping and trading sectors.
- *Analytical Skills*: Ability to analyze market data and make informed decisions that benefit both clients and the company.
- *Problem-Solving*: Proactive problem-solving abilities to address and resolve logistical and contractual issues efficiently.
