Job Descrption
Lee Kum Kee Europe is expanding and therefore has just opened a new vacancy of Category Manager -RTE.

The Category Manager -RTE will be accountable for the category growth and portfolio development for Europe market; ensuring an integrated business plan to deliver N5Yr objectives and category growth objectives

Duties & Responsibilities: -

· Category Strategy Development & Portfolio Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the food cupboard category, potentially frozen and fresh as well, aligned with the overall business objectives. Identify opportunities for growth, market trends, and potential risks.

· Product Development and Innovation: Develop new products in the segment, from concept to launch. Ensure effective collaboration with procurement, R&D, technical services functions, manufacturing, and quality assurance, for delivering superior quality and product experience with regulatory compliance.

· Market Analysis & Insight: Support Category Innovation... Director to chart out planning and management of market intelligence and insight for short term and long-term business & strategic planning, including research and analysis to identify consumer preferences, competitive landscape, and emerging trends.

· Sales, Revenue, and Profitability Management: Work in partnership with sales teams to implement sales plans and promotional activities to achieve revenue targets and key metrics. Monitor category sales performance, analyze data, and make recommendations for continuous improvement and delivering category growth objectives.

· Cost Efficiency Management: Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain and Global Marketing teams to ensure cost efficiencies for maintaining a price competitive position while delivering value to trade and end customers.

· Marketing and Branding: Work closely with Digital Marketing & Brand team to develop effective marketing campaigns, advertising strategies, and brand positioning.

· Team Leadership: Support the leadership team to attract, lead, inspire and develop employees, ensuring business continuity and talent growth within the team. Uplift the product category knowledge for the relevant teams. Provide product and category training to sales and marketing teams.

· Financial Analysis: Prepare and manage the category budget, including cost control, and profitability analysis. Monitor financial performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize category performance.

· Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, food safety standards, and quality assurance protocols. Implement measures to maintain product integrity and consumer trust. Manage for catching up with future regulatory, trade, and consumer expectations to ensure brand and business sustainable in growth across Europe.

II.

Education & Experience: -

· Bachelor degree holder in marketing or business administration.

· Minimum 6 years of sales/marketing experience in reputable FMCG food/beverage organizations.

Requirements & Skills:

· Knowledge and experience in new product development and category management.

· Strong strategic and analytical thinking, solid “CAN-DO” attitude.

· Demonstrate judgement to define category development towards company goal.

· Pursue innovation and change with a mindset of continuous improvement.

· Effective communication and influencing skills, including presentation and writing skills.

· Ability to work under pressure, excel in cross-culture environment.

· A team player to drive company goal and core value.

· Passionate about food and cooking.

· Willing to travel.

· Eligible to work & base in United Kingdom and travel within Europe regions.

· Proficient in spoken and written English.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
