Job Descrption
McGrocer is a growing early-stage startup seeking a highly capable and hands-on Fractional Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy and execution. We need a driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is passionate about building scalable and innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Technology Leadership: Provide strategic vision and technical leadership for the development and implementation of McGrocer's technology roadmap.
• Hands-on Development: Architect, design, and develop core components of our ERP system and other critical platforms using Python, Django, React, Ruby, or other relevant technologies.
• Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team as the company grows.
• System Architecture: Design and implement scalable and secure system architectures that support business growth and evolving needs.
• Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges... ensuring system stability and performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and operations, to align technology solutions with business objectives.
Requirements:
• Proven Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience in building and scaling ERP systems and web platforms using Python, Django, React, Ruby, or similar technologies.
• Hands-on Leadership: A strong preference for candidates who are comfortable coding and leading by example.
• Startup Experience: Experience working in a fast-paced, agile startup environment is highly desirable.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Strong Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Compensation:
• Base salary, with a significant emphasis on performance-based bonuses tied to achieving key technology milestones and company goals.
