Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fleet Coordinator to work in our Barnet Head Office (8am-5pm) to oversee our vehicle operations and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our fleet of vehicles efficiently and ensuring their optimal performance.
Please note we do not offer hybrid working- this is a fully office based position.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Monitor fuel usage and implement cost-saving measures
- Manage vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with regulations
- Develop and implement fleet management policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory and maintenance history
-Inspects and evaluates fleet equipment, recommends repair and/or replacement of existing equipment, and maintains records of fleet inventories, assignments, and usage.
- Maintain the fleet tracker daily, ensuring expired MOTs and Services are booked in time.
- Evaluates fleet purchase requests and makes... recommendations.
- Performs in-service receipt, registration, and delivery of fleet equipment.
- Acts as liaison between driver and relevant manufacturer or garage for warranty work and resolution of technical and safety issues. Analyses, develops, reviews work plans, determines workflow needs and schedules, and ensures completion of work.
- Reviews and establishes fleet maintenance practices and procedures and ensures quality controls.
- Recommends and coordinates training of fleet personnel.
- Develops plans to ensure fleet compliance with Company policy.
- Analyses, makes recommendations, and prepares reports for the solution of budgetary, procurement, procedural, and other fleet issues.
- Assists in preparing requests for proposals and negotiating fleet agreements.
- Coordinates maintenance and repairs of fleet.
- Performs other related Fleet Coordinator job duties as required.
- Issue out monthly vehicle maintenance checklist and ensure all driver’s have completed within a deadline.
- Complete vehicle handovers and paperwork with new starters.
- Closely liaise with the admin department in the other offices on vehicle allocations.
- Provide additional administrative support as and when needed to the wider team.
- Monitoring Driver behaviour and taking disciplinary action where necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
