Nutrition Science and Communication Lead

The Role
Grab the opportunity to join Oatly as Nutrition Science and Communication Lead.
You will join the Science and Technology team at Oatly, working in a dynamic and collaborative environment to carry out world-class nutrition research and advocacy aligned to our business strategic objectives. You will work collaboratively as part of a small team of Nutrition Specialists and with several other business functions at Oatly to help us achieve our mission to make it easy for people to eat better and live healthier lives without recklessly taxing the planet's resources.
As a Nutrition Science and Communication Lead, you will have a major role in providing research-based evidence related to the nutritional properties of our products and their role in sustainable diets. This evidence will contribute towards our engagement, communications and advocacy with internal and external stakeholders.
Here's what you would do,
• Be responsible for gathering, evaluating and communicating evidence on specific nutrition topics of relevance to Oatly's business objectives.
• Contribute and keep building knowledge and expertise in specific areas of nutritional science, and develop plans to effectively communicate this knolwedge to a range of audiences.
• Contribute to research and development projects that enable our mission, supporting product launches, campaigns and community engagement activities.
• Inform and engage relevant internal and external stakeholders through effective collaboration, communication and advocacy activities.
• Help Oatly be a voice for nutrition related issues by providing credible and accurate perspectives in the societal debate on sustainable food systems.
• Represent Oatly's interests in internal and external discussions on relevant topics.
Who You Are
To thrive and be happy in this role, we believe that you have the following qualifications and experience:
• MSc in Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health or other relevant subjects
• +5 years of relevant experience, preferably within an industry context.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
In our minds, you are passionate about improving the health of humans and the planet. You have a sharp and creative mind, with an analytical mindset to understand complex situations. You are organized, with good IT skills and have attention to detail. You are good at adapting to new situations in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment, and make the most of opportunities. You are an excellent communicator with competent presentation skills, who is able to explain concepts to a range of audiences in both spoken and written forms. You are a supportive and inclusive team member.
