The Community Staff Nurse is responsible for the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme (HCP) as delegated by the Team Leader. Reporting to the Team Leader the Community Staff Nurse will support the development of the service and work with colleagues to ensure the delivery of a safe and effective universal health provision for children and young people attending schools in Barnet.

To contribute to the assessment of health needs and delivery of appropriate services to meet needs of children, families and the wider Community.

To work with local statutory, private and voluntary providers, and users to develop and promote practice that is accessible and responsive to all sections of the local community, ensuring that services are targeted to the most vulnerable groups and individuals to support social inclusion.
