Car Sales Executive/Client Advisor
We are looking for a motivated, professional candidate who prides themselves on their outstanding record of providing great customer service and producing fantastic sales results within an established franchised automotive dealership. We are passionate about our business and the brands we represent, so a keen interest in the automotive trade is a must.
It is important that you are adept at remaining calm under pressure; are professional and efficient; have excellent interpersonal communication skills; and understand the importance of coordinating effectively within a team environment. The successful applicant will be competent in FCA compliance and be able to demonstrate strong ancillary product sales.

Unlike most automotive dealerships, we don’t have traditional "Sales... Executives", instead our passionate sales staff are known as "Client Advisors" whose focus is to provide a truly exceptional customer experience. You will be one of the first team member that customers encounter either in person or on the telephone; therefore, you are core to ensuring that customers receive outstanding service and a fantastic sales experience from initial enquiry through to handover and beyond. You will act as a brand ambassador to positively promote our company and the manufacturers we represent.

Responsibilities
• To facilitate a fantastic end to end sales experience for customers purchasing a new or used car - ensuring their purchase journey is seemless and enjoyable
• Welcome customers in person as they enter the showroom, ensure they are handled professionally and courteously and that their requests are managed promptly and effectively
• Handle inbound telephone calls and emails in a professional and courteous manner
• Assist customers on their purchase journey from initial enquiry to vehicle sale and handover
• Help customers in understanding the benefits of any ancillary products sold and assist customers in deciding if these products are of benefit to their needs
• Make outbound calls following sales enquiries/to assist with sales prospecting
• Assist with vehicle and accounting admin
• Stay abreast of latest industry trends, technology and best practices
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by line manager
Hours
The dealership is open 7 days a week (08.30 - 18.00 Monday - Friday, 10.00-16.00 Sundays), so you will partake in a rota system to provide showroom coverage, working 5 days per week.
Your average working hours are therefore 40
Requirements
We'd love to hear from you if you have all of the below:
• A proven track record in providing outstanding customer service, while hitting unit and ancillary add-on targets and KPIs
• A love of providing great customer service and enjoy educating customers on vehicle product knowledge and options of vehicle ownership
• Enjoy meeting new people are find it easy to build rapport easily
• Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and on the telephone
• Self-motivated and enjoy working as part of a team, supporting colleagues with a can-do attitude
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Shows warmth and is enthusiastic and well organised
• A strong sales track record
• A good understanding of FCA compliance, warranty sales and GDPR legislation
• A full driving license and right to work in the UK

Salary between £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)
