Reports to: Head of Retail and Assistant Manager Peninsula

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 per annum DOE plus commission

Overall Summary

Based at Garrard’s new boutique within The Peninsula Hotel the Sales Executive will join a newly established fine-jewellery retail sales team in a fast paced and growing business. You will play a key role in representing the brand and providing an exceptional experience for Garrard’s clients by meeting sales targets, delivering impeccable service and showcasing product knowledge. In addition, you will support the showroom Assistant Manager with the day-to-day running of the boutique.

Key Responsibilities

Sales
• Consistently achieving sales targets by employing a client-centric approach coupled with the delivery of impeccable customer service.
• Cultivating strong client relationships through exceptional experiences, fostering repeat business, and promoting advocacy.
• Demonstrating effective communication skills, both in-person, virtually and in written form, to establish and maintain trust with clients.
• Managing a client database with diligence and proactively engaging clients for exclusive events and new product arrivals utilising our CRM system.

Support
• Supporting the Assistant Manager to ensure smooth daily functioning of the boutique.
• Demonstrating a keen eye for detail regarding visual merchandising and all tasks undertaken, contributing to a flawless client experience.
• Exhibiting good organisational and stock control skills, with the capacity to learn the company’s specific systems and processes through provided training.
• Displaying a willingness and ability to collaborate across departments, working with other teams to achieve overarching business objectives.

Skills and Experiences:
• Previous experience in jewellery B2C sales. Only senior candidates with a minimum of 4 years of experience from the jewellery industry will be considered.
• Experience using a CRM system with basic Microsoft Office knowledge an advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Passion for luxury jewellery and a detail orientated approach.
• A broad product knowledge of gemstones, jewellery, and manufacturing techniques/processes.
• Flexibility to occasionally work from Flagship London boutique in Mayfair.
• Availability to work 5 days within Monday – Saturday, with flexibility to work outside normal boutique hours for regularly held events.
• A presentable, approachable, and friendly demeanour with a pro-active and positive work attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
