Job Descrption
We are looking for a Security Controller to join us at our client site in the City of London. This site is corporate and will be home to international companies including Law firms.
As a Security Controller at the site, you will responsible for delivering the command-and-control function using control room systems, processes and procedures at the site based control room. To provide a proactive and effective security over watch of the assigned site buildings and public... realm.

A typical day in the life as a Security Controller:
• Deliver a professional command and control service
• Provide immediate support to Estate and Building Teams to mitigate risk.
• Trust you instinct and report anything suspicions, out of the ordinary or unusual.
• Manage contractor movement and be aware of work permits including lone worker supervision
• Control room-based keys and assets such as radios and equipment with MyTag
• Ensure all lone workers are monitored and managed thoroughly throughout their shift
• Manage and issue site radios allocated to the building always using MyTag
• Produce daily/weekly reports as required relating to the activities of your area of responsibility
• Manage, mitigate and when required investigate all incidents including gathering electronic evidence

• DS & CCTV SIA Licence
• Demonstrable and proven experience of working in a control room environment
• Satisfactorily always meet and exceed the required standards.
• Be trained at all building control rooms to ensure best practice and resilience is maintained
• Deal with visitors to the security control room providing them with a personal service and guidance
• Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance
• Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from staff and management team
• Maintain, lead, and inspire your staff with a continued interest in and commitment to the work of Wilson James
• Strong IT (Information Technology) Skills (Microsoft, Excel, Office 365, PowerPoint) with ability to use data to create reports and statistics
