Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a friendly, customer service focused Front of House Security Officer.
You will act as the primary point of contact to all ariving staff, guests, visitors, and contractors as part of a dedicated front of house team at BNP Paribas by meeting and maintaining client standards of hospitality whilst providing security of the premises in a proactive and professional manner.
On Week 1, you will be working Monday to Friday 07:00-19:00 and on Week 2, you will be working Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 19:00 equalling to 54 hours per week. This will be on a biweekly rotation.

What you will need:
• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• Previous experience in providing customer service
• High Level of IT proficiency e.g. Microsoft and Access Control Syste,s
• A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential
• Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards
What are you going to do:
• Monitoring the building security email address, actioning requests for the front of house team and responding to emails in a timely manner.
• Providing the initial contact “meet and greet” for all persons entering or leaving and wishing to use the side doors.
• Identify any visitors with appointments and directing guests to the visitor’s reception.
• At all times attempt to reduce queuing times during busy periods.
• Issue, control and facilitate to all daily issue “One day Pass” request for visiting staff or contractor’s once entry has been verified.
• Complete periodic, external visual checks when reception area is quiet, checking for any situation that may cause suspicion.
• Monitor external areas of the building to ensure no smoking occurs directly outside the entrance and encourage all persons to use the designated smoking areas at each end of the building.
• Supply daily access audits and reports as requested by the client.
• Issue of keys in/out and are correctly recorded.
• Assist and direct staff out of the building during emergencies directing them to fire assembly points.
• Manage and assist re-occupation of building following evacuations ensuring flow of staff is manageable and where possible to ease congestion.
