Karate Instructor at Shotokan Sports Karate

Job Descrption
Shotokan Sports Karate is seeking a passionate and dedicated partner to join us in delivering karate classes for children, starting immediately. We provide high-quality karate instruction to children aged 4 years and above, helping them grow in skill and confidence, and preparing them for future competitions. Our classes are located across South East London, and we are looking for a martial arts instructor to support the continued growth of our clubs.
Requirements: We are seeking a part-time martial arts instructor trained in one of the following styles:
• Shotokan
• Goju-ryu
• Shito-ryu
The ideal candidate will be:
• Enthusiastic and reliable, with a genuine passion for working with children.
• Experienced and skilled, able to create engaging classes that balance fun with a strong emphasis on developing abilities and techniques.
• Comfortable teaching children aged 4 and above, helping them progress in their karate... journey.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1º Dan (black belt) in the relevant karate style.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with children and parents alike.
• Proven ability to teach karate in a structured, yet enjoyable environment.
Important Information:
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK. We do not provide work visas or sponsorship for this role.
• After the initial interview, candidates will be invited to participate in a training session to assess their skills and suitability.
