Job Title: Junior Surveyor - Asset Services
Location: London
Salary: £32,000 - £37,000 per annum
Job Description Summary:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Surveyor to join our dynamic Asset Services team. The Junior Surveyor will support the Senior Assistant Property Manager and play a key role in the day-to-day management of a portfolio of properties, ensuring operational excellence and positive relationships with tenants and clients. This role offers a fantastic entry point for those looking to develop a career in property management, with hands-on exposure to various aspects of property administration and management.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative support, including managing phone calls, reports, filing, and office supplies.
Assist with lease administration, ensuring databases are up-to-date and maintaining accurate property records.
Prepare and coordinate bid proposals and service contracts, assisting with procurement and... contractor management.
Manage tenant move-ins and move-outs, coordinating logistics such as furniture delivery and collection.
Oversee and track work orders, purchase orders, and maintain the Tenant Service Package.
Process invoices and assist in managing financial reports in compliance with company policies.
Ensure Certificates of Insurance for tenants and vendors are up to date.
Conduct regular property inspections and assist with the supervision of service contractors.
Support the preparation of budgets and assist with monthly financial reporting.
Update and maintain office procedures as outlined in the Property Operations Manual.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in real estate property management, facilities management, or a related field.
Skills:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and initiative.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for tenant and client interaction.
