Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing the aesthetic appeal of various properties through expert painting and decorating techniques. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The successful applicant will have a passion for delivering high-quality finishes and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Duties
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Select appropriate materials and colours based on client preferences and project requirements.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on progress.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring... cleanliness and safety at all times.
• Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and completion of tasks.

Skills
• Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively.
• Proficient in painting techniques and knowledge of various materials used in decorating.
• Valid driving licence to travel between job locations as necessary.
• Ability to speak and understand English fluently for effective communication on site.
• Attention to detail with a keen eye for colour matching and finishing touches.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm

Pay: £11.44-£13.00 per hour
