Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles, and will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate various routes efficiently.

Duties
• Operate flatbed lorries to transport goods to designated locations.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner while adhering to traffic regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries... addressing any concerns or questions from clients.

Qualifications
• Valid commercial driving licence (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for flatbed operation.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for driving.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
• A clean driving record is essential, demonstrating responsible driving habits.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £17.74-£18.74 per hour
