An Engineering Teacher is needed in a Mixed Comprehensive Secondary School & Sixth Form in South East London.
This Engineering Teacher post will be full time and long term, with scope to go permanent.
If appointed as an Engineering Teacher, you will be required to teach KS3 to KS5 classes.
The rates of pay for this Engineering Teacher position will range from £180 to £290 a day, depending on each applicant's qualifications and experience.
The School:
A very large 11 - 18 Comprehensive School founded in 1971 which has just under 2000 pupils. There are over 80 languages spoken by staff and pupils. In terms of facilities, there is an Olympic legacy... sports set up in the gymnasium and dojo, as well as a shared use sports centre. A new building opened in 2011, providing new resources and equipment. The school holds an Artsmark Platinum and 4 PTI Awards. During their last inspection, Ofsted noted that the pupils display good behaviour. They are always ready to learn and are polite, caring of others, and friendly.
Requirements:
You are encouraged to apply if you are a recently qualified Engineering Teacher or experienced Engineering Teacher. Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained Engineering Teacher or overseas trained Engineering Teacher. All applicants must have the following criteria in order to be considered for this position as an Engineering Teacher:
• Right to work in the UK
• Clear and updated Enhanced DBS
• UK QTS/QTLS or overseas equivalent
• Experience as an Engineering Teacher in UK schools
