Job Descrption
Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical
equipment to maximize operating performance; detect and
troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
Design and test hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment and
systems (involves circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, servo drives,
etc.).
Operating power house equipment (e.g. boilers, air compressors,
chillers, electrical distribution, etc.)
Perform basic administrative skills including computer data entry
and documentation of work performed by written and electronic
methods.
Installs, examines, replaces and repairs all types of hydraulic and
pneumatic devices: including valves, actuators, pumps, as well as
all types of mechanical drive assemblies.
Contribute to continuous improvement, productivity, quality,
customer service, cost reduction and safety
Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor
Your qualifications
Ontario Electrician License
Preferred Graduate of Community College program... in
Electromechanical Engineering Technician, or Electrical
Engineering Technician
3 years of experience working in an industrial setting; we are open
to reviewing applicants who have recently graduated their
apprenticeship with industrial experience.
Experience working with Allen Bradley PLC’s, SLC’s Panelview,
Fanuc Robots, frequency drives; hydraulics and pneumatic
systems.
Good trouble-shooting skills and the ability to read schematics
Ability to identify causes of problems and develop methods of
correction
Ability to work under pressure and adapt easily to time constraints
as required
Flexible to work rotating shifts
$36.10 / hour
