Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires mechanical knowledge and a commitment to producing high-quality work while adhering to safety standards.

Duties
• Operate power tools and hand tools to fabricate and assemble metal components.
• Perform welding tasks using stick welding techniques and other methods as required.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all health and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during the fabrication process.
• Work with sheet metal and other materials as... needed for various projects.

Experience
• Proven experience in welding, with a focus on stick welding techniques.
• Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and fabrication processes is essential.
• Experience in assembling components from drawings or specifications is highly desirable.
• A good understanding of health and safety regulations within a workshop environment is important.
