Job Descrption

We are looking for a general labourer, horticultural technician to perform the following duties:

- Load and unload materials, tools and equipment.

- Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, lifting, carrying, etc.

- Tasks will include, planting, maintenance, mulching, mowing, moving/placing hardscape materials, fencing etc.

- Ability to lift 50 lbs at times. Work is repetitive throughout the day. Strong back required.

- Work is outdoors in various weather conditions, including cold, rain, heat, humidity and snow.

- Ability to work in a team environment. Good communication skills. - Attention to detail. - Hours of work are Monday to Friday, up to 10 hours per day. The odd Saturday may be required.

- Previous Landscape experience would be an asset. - Valid drivers' license required. We are not on a bus route.

- Hardscape experience would be an asset.

- Wage - $16.00 to $22.00 per hour based on experience and ability
