Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team at Haymarket Business Media to work across the C&IT Brand. You will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the C&IT event portfolio, developing brand engagement, audience building, and field marketing opportunities.
You will also be expected to attend events to support the team and manage your own events, which may require out-of-hours and late-night working.

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for a portfolio of 8 events, including conferences, forums, and awards, to drive attendance and meet business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, and direct outreach.
• Help reimagine the brand with its digital product
• Lead brand engagement initiatives to... enhance event/brand visibility, awareness, and perception among target audiences.
• Drive audience growth through targeted marketing efforts, leveraging data-driven insights and segmentation strategies.
• Identify and capitalise on field marketing opportunities to expand the brand’s reach and maximise the portfolio's success
• Analyse campaign performance and optimise strategies to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and maximise ROI.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in event marketing to continuously innovate and enhance our marketing approach.
• Work closely with the sales and partnerships teams to support sponsorship and partnership opportunities, contributing to overall revenue generation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of event marketing efforts with broader marketing and business goals.
Skills / Experience / Knowledge / Minimum Criteria
• Minimum 3 years of experience in event/brand marketing, ideally across conferences, awards, and forums.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including email marketing software, social media platforms, and basic HTML.
• Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
• Knowledge of SEO/SEM principles and experience with Google Analytics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a positive attitude and a desire to contribute to the success of our events portfolio.
• Has an understanding of Data and GDPR compliance.
