Job Description

An opportunity for a job share in our busy Rights Revenue team. Two days a week with the potential opportunity to increase hours in the future. The successful candidate will provide support to the Rights revenue Manager in the collection and processing of all subsidiary rights revenue generated by the Rights Sales team for all UK and US product so that profit can be determined and correct author royalties applied.

What you’ll be doing:

  • To build strong relationships with departments across the business, including the Informa Tax team, Invoicing team, Cash Operations, Beijing Rights team and key customers & agents.
  • Maintain a reliable work flow with the shared service teams to ensure accurate invoicing of licence revenue and appropriate payment allocation.
  • Analyse and process annual royalty statements ensuring accurate sales records are maintained within the rights management database & correct invoices are requested .
  • to pull monthly reports from the rights system in order to chase outstanding royalty statements and unsigned contracts due from customers and agents.
  • Archive all correspondence relating to rights reversions, deals signed, invoices, royalty chasers and payments.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

  • GCSE Maths & English or equivalent qualifications
  • Publishing experience preferable but not essential
  • Accountancy experience
  • Familiarity with foreign currencies
  • Customer service experience

Skills and Behaviours:

  • Responsible person with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Self-motivation.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

  • This role will be based in the United Kingdom and you must have the right to live and work in the UK
  • Taylor & Francis has flexible hybrid working options for how employees can work based on their role. This role will be based predominantly from home in the UK, with regular travel to our office in Milton Park, Oxfordshire
  • This is a part-time role(2 days per week)
