As the Shopper Marketing Team Lead you will be part of the Category Development and Shopper Marketing team, which forms part of the wider Sales function. You will report directly to the Demand Accelerator Controller, working cross functionally with other departments to deliver best in class Shopper Marketing executions across our grocery, wholesale and out of home customers.
You will form a pivotal link between marketing and sales, including category development, defining the strategy, framework and methodology to lead the activation and evaluation of shopper activations – ensure our executions are delivering ROI and driving sales. Drive our initiatives and brands ensuring they are successfully marketed to the shopper, tailored to the customer and drive purchase behaviour
Your remit will encompass being the shopper marketing lead for Tesco as well as managing a team who will cover all other priority customers – across all channels.
You will manage the shopper marketing agency and be accountable for the shopper marketing budget. You will thrive from collaborating cross-functionally with Category Strategy, Category development, sales and marketing to deliver best in class activation for JDE brands and NPD big bets.
Responsible for shopper insight as well as measurement and evaluation, forms a key part of this role ensuring every pound we invest in activation has a positive ROI.
