The Role
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference? Join our team and contribute to the future of fusion energy. As Nuclear Decommissioning Apprentice, you will play a pivotal role in the Waste Services division by assisting the Facility Supervisors in the maintenance of equipment and personal protective equipment to ensure safe operations to UKAEA and national standards, implementing safe and effective written and verbal instructions by the Facility Supervisors.
You will ensure careful handling, packaging and tracking of samples to internal and external collaborators, alongside completing paperwork for on-site and off-site transfer. This includes updating electronic records, inputting data into UKAEA radioactive inventory database comply with facility Safety Management Requirements as defined in the facilities Safety Cases.
