Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on PR Assistant to join the Brand team at Ennismore. This is an exciting entry-level role in our growing company and will focus on supporting the press office across nine brands– The Hoxton, Working From_, SO/, SLS, Mondrian, Delano, Hyde, Morgans Originals and 21c Museum Hotels.
Based in London and reporting to the brands’ respective Heads of PR, this is the perfect opportunity for someone in the early stages of their PR career to learn and get stuck in from the get-go. You’ll be supporting the PR function for properties around the world, taking responsibility for all the details that make for a successful press office. From managing the all-important media list to organising press experiences and keeping an eagle eye out for coverage, you’ll be integral to the smooth running of the department. This is an in-house role which will require you to work collaboratively across brand marketing and operations, giving you a valuable insight into the world of hospitality and lifestyle brands.
What you'll do....
You’ll be the proud gatekeeper of all the juicy PR coverage, monitoring the web and keeping organised, up-to-date logs.
We’ll need you to be on it with reporting, supporting the Heads of PR to create monthly PR reports and campaign wrap reports. Keynote has nothing on you.
You’ll liaise across teams and need to keep an organised calendar for booking press and influencers in for review stays and meals, as well as monitoring coverage.
You’ll be an inbox whizz and handle any reactive press requests for the brands.
Keep up to date with all the comings and goings in the press world, maintaining and updating media contact databases, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
You’ll need to channel your inner travel agent, organising group and individual press trips, planning itineraries, and ensuring seamless transfers.
Flex your creative muscles by supporting in the development and maintenance of PR materials including press releases, press kits and image database.
Be an authority on industry trends, conducting research and keeping an eye on competitors to know what’s hot, what’s not, and what the future might hold.
Circle the calendar with all the important industry and media awards and help to pull together submissions where required.
Qualifications
What we're looking for...
You are interested in pursuing a career in PR and eager to learn, by supporting a fast-paced function in a rapidly expanding international company.
You appreciate the role involves a lot of admin but you’re eager to take it on and get stuck in, knowing it’s the backbone of any successful PR division.
You like to write and know a good email from a bad one – precise communication and polite follow ups come naturally and you’re confident responding to requests big and small.
You’re super organised and get a kick from an organised media bookings log.
You pay attention to detail and love a well-polished wrap report.
Experience in hospitality isn’t a must but we do want you to be genuinely passionate about our industry; whether that’s a love for a delicious meal, a decent drink, a cosy bed or a travel adventure.
You’re not precious. We leave our egos at the door and help get shit done.
